A day before Palm Sunday, Church vendor Maricel Dawatan, 39, prepares her Palaspas with stampitas which she sells for 40-50 pesos each in front of St.John Evangelist Church in Tanauan City, Batangas, 27 March 2021.

Palaspas in recent years only sells for 20-25pesos each, but she said travel restrictions had hampered the delivery from coconut farm suppliers.
