The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced this morning the new schedule of the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) September 2009. The LET was moved from September 27 to October 4. The cancellation of the original schedule was due to the deluge brought by typhoon Ondoy to different regions in Luzon particularly the National Capital Region (NCR) and the Southern Tagalog Region.

It was announced on the night of Sept. 26 that the cancellation of the board exam will be for Metro Manila testing centers only but it was President Gloria Arroyo who ordered the cancellation of the examination in all testing centers around the country, morning of Sept. 27.
