Malvar, Batangas — Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas Limapark has started construction on an 8-storey expansion that will add 104 rooms to its current 134, bringing the hotel’s total capacity to 238 keys. The groundbreaking took place on September 22, just a year after the property rebranded under the IHG Hotels & Resorts brand.
Hotel executives said the project is expected to boost Batangas’ tourism sector while strengthening the hotel’s role as a venue for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events within the fast-growing LIMA Estate business district.

The hotel first opened in 1998 as Limapark Hotel and officially rebranded as Holiday Inn & Suites Batangas Limapark on July 1, 2024. It remains the only international hotel in the BERDE-certified LIMA Central Business District.
The development highlights the partnership between Limapark Group, which owns the property, and IHG Hotels & Resorts, the global hotel company managing more than 6,000 hotels under 20 diverse brands worldwide.
