Photo Entry: Must be unedited (raw) and must not be less than 1600 X 1200 pixels and in .jpg format. The photo must depict the beauty of Batangas places of attraction. Only those in landscape format will be accepted.
Contest Rules
a. Who can join? The contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers. The participant should be a bonafide Batangenyo who resides in Batangas and an active WOWBatangas.com FB page liker. No age limit.
b. How to join? Interested photographers may submit one (1) photo entry to contest@wowbatangas.com on or before April 30, 2011. Include photographer’s name, home address, contact details and short description/caption of the photo (i.e. location, date, etc.)
EliminationsAll the submitted entries will be posted on dir.wowbatangas.com FB page for two weeks, 1-14, 2011. The five photos (per town) with the most number of likes will be considered for the next round.
Final RoundOnly five (5) photographers per town will proceed to the final round. (34 towns X 5 photographers) The chosen photographers will be given a week (May 15 – 22, 2011) to take photo of their town’s best place of attraction. Contestants must submit the photo on May 23-24 at WOWBatangas Home, No. 310, Brgy 2, Mataasnakahoy, Batangas, 9am-5pm only.
Criteria for JudgingAll the entries will be posted on WOWBatangas.com FB page for one month. May 25 – June 25 2011. The following are the criteria for judging:
FB fans likes – 40%
Composition – 30%
Technical Quality – 20%
Overall Impression – 10%
