The Vibrant Egg Festival in San Jose, Batangas, proudly celebrated its 259th founding anniversary last week, drawing residents and visitors alike to a lively display of culture, creativity, and community spirit.
The highlight of the festivities was the two-day Egg Festival 2025, which kicked off with the much-anticipated Street
Dancing Competition.
The competition showcased the talent and energy of various local clusters, with Cluster 1 emerging as the champion, followed by Cluster 6 as first runner-up and Cluster 5 securing second runner-up.
Awards for Best in Costume were also given, with Cluster 6 taking the top prize, Cluster 3 placing first runner-up, and Cluster 1 earning second runner-up honors. The colorful performances and elaborate costumes delighted audiences, reflecting San Jose’s rich cultural heritage and its residents’ enthusiasm for the annual celebration.
Aside from the festive street dancing, the founding anniversary also featured a job fair, providing employment opportunities to the local community and further highlighting the municipality’s
commitment to progress and development.
