There is truly no place like home during fiesta season, and this was powerfully felt as Lipa City celebrated the Lipa City Fiesta 2026 Grand Parade on January 20, marking the culmination of the San Sebastian Fiesta with a vibrant display of culture, creativity, and community spirit.

Residents and visitors lined the streets early in the morning to witness the much-anticipated Grand Float Parade, which rolled from SM Lipa to Robinsons Place Lipa. Colorful floats, marching bands, and themed presentations reflected Lipa’s rich heritage, religious devotion, and artistic talent—drawing cheers from families, students, and local organizations who gathered to celebrate together.

The grand parade capped more than a week of festivities under the Lipa City Fiesta 2026 calendar, which officially began on January 9 and featured a wide range of cultural, religious, sports, and entertainment activities held across key venues such as Plaza Independencia, San Sebastian Cathedral, Fiesta World Mall, and the Lipa City Convention Center.

Highlights of the fiesta included the Drum and Lyre Competition, EBA Chorale Competition, Trade Fair, DepEd Night, Dance and Cheerdance Competitions, Battle of the Bands, Ms. Gay Universe 2026, Mutya ng Lipa 2026 Coronation Night, and the Barako Golf Tournament. These events showcased the diverse talents of Lipeños while strengthening community participation and local pride.

Faith remained at the heart of the celebration, with the Concelebrated Mass and Procession in honor of San Sebastian drawing devotees who continue to uphold the city’s deep religious traditions. The fiesta officially concluded with “Sining at Saya: Lipa City Fiesta Night” at Plaza Independencia, bringing music, art, and fellowship to a joyful close.
