The Grand Marching Band Showdown brought music and excitement to LIMA Estate last March 8, as 13 elementary schools and 4 high schools competed for the Best Drum and Lyre Marching Band title.
The participants paraded earlier in the day through The Outlets at LIMA and LIMA Exchange, delighting shoppers and visitors with colorful uniforms and lively performances. Schools joining the competition included San Isidro Elementary School, Sync Music Mentors DLC, Lipa Community Band, Bulacnin Elementary School, Mahacot Elementary School, Salaban Elementary School, Divine Shepherd School of Lipa City, Inc., Inosluban Elementary School, San Lucas Elementary School, Bugtongnapulo Elementary School, Pinagtong-ulan Elementary School, San Sebastian DLC, and Lipa Westside.
Organizers described the event as a platform to showcase the musical talents of young performers while fostering discipline, teamwork, and creativity. The Grand Marching Band Showdown continues to serve as a highlight in Lipa City’s cultural calendar, drawing families and spectators alike to celebrate excellence in student and youth programs.
