Do you believe in Love at first sight? Scientists study our brain activity and say that its quiet possible but everyone is free to believe or not to believe.
Some people claim that it happened to them. And it was like you raise your head, meet those eyes and tell yourself, it is He / She! Psychologists say that love at first sight depends on our psychological state at the moment. In some case we won’t even notice those charming eyes in another they can make a lasting impression on as. Also they say that it takes about 30 seconds to fall in love or precisely speaking to estimate whether the person is worth to fall in love with. By the way psychologists claim that men fall in love first. So now I know my husband love me more, ooops but that was during my young days that my waistline is 27, just joking. Fellow Batangenyo’s allow me tell you our love story that all started in love at first sight.
My husband and I met in the wedding of his sister last June 14, 2003 I did not know him personally not even his family. The only connection we had is my date on that day who happened to be my husband’s cousin. Since the 1st day that we met we already exchange numbers, I know the first time that we were introduce into each other there was a spark already. The following day we found ourselves on a group date with his cousin and another friend. And the next days we were exclusively dating, lots of text’s, calls etc. And 2 days before our 1st month of meeting we were officially together as bf/gf. He is my first boyfriend while I’m his 10th girlfriend I think lols! Just like any other couple we also had our ups and down. But I guess it is true love that bind us and lead us into a marriage. So after 3 yrs of going steady we decided to tie the knot last September 9, 2006.
Marriage life has become easy for us not only because of our love for each other, not only because of our children, but most importantly it’s because we put GOD as the center of our relationship. We’re not perfect, we also argue and we also had a fights but majority of each is petty quarrel only and would only last for one day. It’s mutual for us that whoever did wrong or cause the fight should be the one to apologize. I learned a lot and still continuously learning in our marriage. The recent tragedy in our lives that put us into a test is last Aug 18, 2010. That day when my eldest son passed away, I don’t want to go in details into as it tore my heart into pieces. We already embrace our son’s fate and leave it all to GOD. We stop asking why why why but instead “who is control of our life” which is our ALMIGHTY GOD. That tragedy even strengthened our love for each other and makes us stronger as a couple. Now almost 5 months had passed there are still times that we weep for the loss of our son but my husband and I is there to support each other. We now have our angel watching over us.
I’m looking forward for our 10th year wedding anniversary and we wanted to renew our vow and get married again (hopefully we have a budget for that!). We’re looking for more fruitful years for us together. May the good LORD continue to bless our marriage and our family. And if it is not too much hopefully by late 2011 or early 2012 when I hit my target weight GOD will bless us with another baby boy not to replace YNOC but as a replacement of our male child.
So now for me love at first sight is true at all but it really depends on the person involve on how it will lead into a serious relationship or into a marriage. Maybe we’re really destined for each other but it’s also our choice on who will be our partners in life.
Others my now believe in love at first sight as always there as many opinions as many people. Each one has an equal right to exist because whatever all those scientifically researches find out love still stays a sphere in which no one quite sure in anything. “Meeting you was fate, becoming your girlfriend was choice, but falling in love with you I had no control over.”
