Tonight will be the night for the new Mutya ng Lipa to be crowned. Mutya ng Lipa 2010 is Ms. Joyce Ann Tapay, daughter of Mr. Joselito Tapay, 2010 Fiesta ExeCom Chairman, and Mrs. Cecil Tapay. Joyce Ann will be escorted by Godfrey Gozos. The Mutya ng Lipa candidates were trained by none other than Mr. Jun Magana. The venue of the coronation night and ball was moved from Plaza Independencia to De La Salle Sentrum due to inclement weather.

Moreover, a grand ball will follow the Mutya ng Lipa coronation night. This year’s theme is very Filipino because the attendees attire is barong tagalog for men and Filipiniana for women. How grand this event is? It’s a gathering of Lipa’s most important people. Where the city’s elite circle will come together for a night of celebration. This is said to be the highlight of the Lipa City Fiesta 2010. And this event will be witnessed by the WOWBatangas Team.

This event is something that everybody should be witnessing (unfortunately it’s by invitation). The team was invited by the fiesta committee, and of course, we will be sharing with you the highlights of the events through the article and the photos we would be posting.

Furthermore, we’ll be joining the grand fiesta parade tomorrow, Jan. 20, at around 6am. WOWBatangas Team will be with Somethin’ Big Tarpaulin Printing. Final events for the week-long celebration of Lipa City Fiesta 2010 are the parade at 6am (assembly area: SM City Lipa), the Procession at 5pm (Lipa City Proper), and the Ginebra Variety Show at 8pm (Plaza Independencia).
