Lipenos are not only great in heart but also gifted in mind! Thus verified as thirteen (13) schools clashed in the ultimate quiz bee – FIESTAlino 2010 organized by the premiere youth organization ,Lipa City Youth Society (LCYS) at Robinson’s Place Activity Area, Jan. 17.
Participants were: Inosloban Marawoy National High School, San Celestino National High School, Batangas College of Arts and Sciences,
Bulacnin National High School, Fernando Airbase National High School, Bugtong na Pulo National High School, Dagatan Family Fram School, Lipa City National High School, San Isidro National High School, Rizal National High School, Pinagkawitan National High School and Pinagtung-Ulan National High School.
The top three schools were :
2nd Runner Up – Fernando Airbase National High School
1st Runner Up- San Celestino National High School
Champion – Pinagkawitan National High School
“ This is our third year of organizing a quiz bee for the Lipeno students this is LCYS’ way to somehow help in reviving our one past, sharing our culture as we look forward to a more beautiful life in our one city.” – Ms. Sarah Jane Melu, President of LCYS
Also present in the event was Coun. Con Con Hernandez, Mr. Lito Tapay , Mr. Herman Hirang and Mrs. Divine Simangan.
