FAITH Colleges alumni delivered outstanding performances for Team Philippines after securinggold medals at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025, held in Thailand from December 9 to 20, 2025.
Representing the country with excellence and discipline, the Bravehearts once again proved their strength on the international sporting stage.
Among the gold medalists was Royevel Palma, a prominent national athlete and pitcher for the Philippine Blu Girls, whose strong pitching and timely runs played a crucial role in the team’schampionship victory. Palma is an alumna of Fidelis Senior High School, Class of 2020, and continues to be a key figure in Philippine women’s softball.
FAITH Colleges also celebrated success in men’s baseball as alumni helped power the national team to a gold medal finish. Liam Alexie De Vera, a third baseman and ABM alumnus of FAITH Class of 2024, was part of the gold-winning roster alongside John Leonel Matanguihan, second baseman and Sports Track alumnus of Fidelis Senior High School, Class of 2020, and Kennedy Torres, pitcher and Sports Track alumnus of Fidelis Senior High School, Class of 2020.
Adding to the institution’s impressive showing was Kenneth Torres, first baseman and catcher of the RP Blu Boys, who also secured a gold medal in men’s softball. Torres, a Sports Track alumnus of Fidelis Senior High School, Class of 2020, contributed to the team’s strong campaign, further highlighting FAITH Colleges’ consistent presence in elite national sports.
Their victories not only bring pride to the institution but also inspire young Filipinos to pursue excellence in sports and beyond.
