This October 22, Malarayat Golf and Country Club, will be hosting the first Audi International Quattro Cup Philippines. This is an invitational golf tournament organized by Audi Philippines Brand Ambassador, Tess Prieto.
“The idea of bringing together our Clientele’s two passions, golf and premiere European cars, is an exciting venture that will take society golf into a new dimension. Offering the best of both worlds, the winner will have the opportunity to showcase his swinging talent while indulging in a luxury golf holiday,” Audi Philippines head Benedicto Coyiuto said.
The tournament will be a Team Play mode followig the “Select Drive Alternate Shot (Greensome Stableford) format with competing teams composed of two players each whose handicap difference must not be more than 20. Both members of the team shall hit drives/tee shots. They will then select which ball to play next.
The partner whose ball was not selected plays the next shot. The player then hit shots alternately until the ball is holed. The tournament shall also be conducted in accordance with the Rules of Golf as promulgated by the R&A St. Andrews and all applicable local rules of Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club.
The champion will be sent to New South Wales Golf Club in Sydney, Australia for the World Finals on December 14-18, to represent Audi Philippines.
