What’s the Most Memorable Movie Line for You?

When was the last time you went out to see a movie? Batangueños are moviegoers. When there’s a huge film (extremely promoted one) coming up, expect that cinemas on the nearest supermall will be packed with thrilled moviegoers.

You can say I am one of them that’s why I knew how people here are such fans of movies, good movies that is. What’s your favorite dialogue or line from a movie? Let’s see how well you could remember these lines.

“Walang himala! Ang himala ay nasa puso ng tao! Nasa puso nating lahat!” — Nora Aunor, Himala

“You’re nothing but a second rate, trying hard copycat.” — Cherie Gil, Bituing Walang Ningning

“I was never your partner… I’m just your wife.” — Sharon Cuneta, Madrasta

“Kung hindi tayo kikilos sino ang kikilos? Kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa?” — Vilma Santos in Sister Stella L.

“I never believed in forever, Toni. But I think I found forever in you.” — Rico Yan, Got to Believe

“Mahal mo ba ako dahil kailangan mo ako? O kailangan mo ako kaya mahal mo ako?” — Claudine Barretto, Milan

“May the force be with you.” — Harrison Ford, Star Wars

“You had me at hello.” Renee Zellweger, Jerry Maguire

“I’m the king of the world!” — Leonardo DiCaprio, Titanic

“Life is a box of chocolates, you’ll never know what you’re gonna get.” Tom Hanks, Forrest Gump

i am still using this line when expressing sudden surge of joy: “GO AHEAD, MAKE MY DAY!” in varied form, such as: “you make my day!” from the movie i saw with a special friend at Quad Makati in 1983, Clint Eastwood a.k.a. Dirty Harry’s “Sudden Impact.”
