Chris Cayzer Serenaded Batanguenas in The Only Thing Album Tour

chris_cayzerChris Cayzer made Batanguenas swoon over him in his recent gig at SM City Lipa. The Acoustic Heartthrob made the girls fell in love with him even more as he serenaded the audience in his album tour at the SM Lipa Event Center, Nov. 14, 2009.

Chris’ opening number was Tuloy Pa Rin Ako (a Side-A original) followed by his cover version of Lisa Loeb’s original, Stay, the song that introduced him to the local music scene.

The audience, which mostly are girls, went gaga as Chris’ mini-concert heated up. He performed three cuts from his latest album, The Only Thing, under Warner Music Philippines. Chris sang his two Tagalog songs, Paikot-ikot and the carrier single, Loko, and a song written by Ogie Alcasid entitled, A Better Man.

Chris Ashley Luke Araneta Cayzer was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia to parents Khristine Araneta Cayzer and Reggie Hizon Cayzer. His showbiz career was totally unexpected. He is one of those discoveries born and raised abroad, went to the Philippines for a vacation and was discovered and offered with a talent contract, then the rest as they say, is history.

In 2006, he was launched as a recording artist for NuGEn, the sub-label of Star Records (ABS-CBN’s record label). After three years, he came up with his second album, The Only Thing. He is now visible in GMA 7 shows and is a mainstay in the Sunday concert t.v., S.O.P.
