JCI-Lipa Hosts SOLAC 2024, Wows Delegates with Trademark Batangueno Culture and Hospitality

JCI (Junior Chamber International) -Lipa hosted over 500 delegates at the 44th JCI Philippines Southern Luzon Area Conference.

The SOLAC (Southern Luzon Area Conference) 2024 is a 3-day event that started last Friday and primarily recognizes the milestones and achievements of JCI chapters from Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Bicol Region, and Palawan through its Dangal Awards Night to be held this Saturday at Aquamarine Recreational Center in Banaybanay, Batangas.

But it is in the carefully curated activities of JCI-Lipa that the delegates get to know more about the city— its rich heritage, treasured culture, and proud people.

Activities like TATAG: Transforming Adversities To Accelerate Growth Amazing Race, Friendly Golf: Greens and Good Times, and LipaPalooza: Opening Nigh Extra Factor, furthered leadership qualities and camaraderie among the young leaders while local tourism-centric programs such as City Highlights: Free City Tour, Brewing Discoveries: Coffee Farm Tour and Coffee were fitting introductions to the city’s invaluable ancestry and at the same time, its progressiveness.

“Batangas is a very progressive province but still, we have preserved our culture” SOLAC Vice President Mr. Billy Onate, noted in an interview with WowBatangas.com. “Dito sa Lipa pa lang, napakarami nang magandang lugar, and we want our delegates to know more about it.”

JCI Philippines is a national organization of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global non-profit organization created for enterprising individuals ages 18-40 with over 500,000 members in more than 100 countries. The organization focuses on professional development, economic opportunities, and creative solutions to address problems across all levels of society.
