Conclusion of Ala Eh! Festival 2012 Reveals New Champions

When Batangueños gather together, the best things emanate.

It was the 431st Foundation Anniversary of the Province of Batangas and this was how the Ala Eh! Festival 2012 concluded in Tanauan City.

Saturday, December 8th, the final day of the Ala Eh! Festival started early for all the participating municipalities in the Street and Court Dance Competitions as well as for the Float Parade which commenced at around 8:30am.

The sun was shining brightly that day, enhancing the details of the colorful costumes of most street dancers. Spectators from all over the province showed support to their respective contingents and everyone was taken by the festive vibe floating all over the streets of Tanauan City.

Of course, Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto expressed her gratitude to Mayor Sonia Torres-Aquino and to the people of Tanauan City for hosting this year’s festivities.

With a festival like this, you can witness how united and competitive Batangueños are. It has always been delightful to see young street dancers compete for the pride of the town/city they represent. We say this is one event every Batangueño should not miss.
