LIPA CITY, Batangas — The city is set to celebrate MSME Week 2025 from July 21 to 25, bringing together Batangueño entrepreneurs in a five-day event focused on innovation, collaboration, and business development. With the theme “Business for MSMEs: Connecting the Batangueño Entrepreneurs,” the event will be held at the Lipa City Hall Grounds and will feature a series of daily activities aimed at strengthening the province’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The week-long celebration is sponsored by the Lipa City Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Batangas Provincial Government, Batangas State University, DOST Batangas, Icons, Sustainable Livelihood Program, and the Provincial Cooperative Livelihood and Enterprise Development Office (PCLEDO).
The festivities begin on July 21 with the opening of the MSME Trade Fair and Coffee Day, highlighting Batangas’ vibrant coffee industry and showcasing locally made products. On July 22, entrepreneurs will take part in the PCCI Lipa Business Mentorship Program, where seasoned business leaders will provide guidance to emerging enterprises.
July 23 marks Batangas Coop Day, a celebration of the role of cooperatives in local economic empowerment, followed by a Food Safety and Startup Ecosystem Mapping Seminar on July 24, aimed at equipping participants with practical knowledge on compliance, innovation, and startup development.
The event culminates on July 25 with the highly anticipated MSME Business Conference 2025, which will feature keynote speakers, business talks, and the MSME Awards honoring outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises across the province.
MSME Week 2025 is part of Lipa’s ongoing commitment to support local businesses and promote inclusive growth across Batangas. By bringing together public and private stakeholders, the event underscores the importance of connectivity, mentorship, and innovation in building a resilient and sustainable MSME sector.
