For everyone’s information, this is My Hometown’s Finest Photo Contest Final Round Mechanics.
Final Round Theme: The Finest PLACE in your Hometown
Final Round Mechanics:
> Picture must be taken from June 1-June 14, 2011 in the hometown you are representing. Again please make sure that you were born or currently living in your designated hometown. We might require proof (like birth certificate or letter from your Mayor) before the final announcement of winners.
> Picture must be taken using either a 1) Digicam (Point-and-Shoot Camera) or 2) Digital SLR. You may borrow a better camera from friends/relatives if you want to improve your chances of winning this contest.
> Picture must NOT be EDITED and must be SENT TO US STRAIGHT FROM THE CAMERA in .JPG format (No cropping, color correction, and any other modifications.
> Must be in LANDSCAPE mode and not less than 1800 X 1200 pixels.
> If pictures contain sculptures, statues and painting, they must be just a small object in the overall picture. We might also require you to secure a letter from the sculptor or painter that you are allowed to use their work in this contest.
> Proxy Photographers are not allowed.
Criteria for Judging
FB LIKES – 40%
COMPOSITION (or Creativity) – 30%
TECHNICAL QUALITY (or Photographic Quality) – 20%
OVERALL IMPRESSION – 10%
IMPORTANT REMINDERS FOR THE FINALISTS: You will receive an e-mail containing the complete guidelines and mechanics for the final round. Please do remember that you have to CONFIRM your participation in the finals thru e-mail as well.
