As one of the highlights in the celebration of the January 16 Batangas City Fiesta, yearly, the Batangas City Culturals Affairs Committee conducts selection of the Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas candidates. Now on its twenty second (22) year, the pageant launched by Mayor Eduardo B. Dimacuha in January 1989, reflects not only the physical beauty but also values that make Batangueña unique among Filipino women.
Sixteen Batangueña beauties vying for the title “Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas 2010” were presented to the public in a press conference and fashion show of the latest finds in Sabella collection last January 8, 2010 at SM City Batangas.
Bb. Lungsod ng Batangas 2010 candidates are Dayne Maree Clanor, Mary Jane Magluyan, Niña Joy Calingasan, Ma. Hannah Tolentino, Princess Ardid, Hope Joy Holgado, Ana Veronica Gallego, Marie Antoneth Ramos, Marlyn Armamento, Luningning Manguerra, Lorraine De Guzman, Rose Ann Villanueva, Liezl Guico, Margie Alcones, Olive Miraples and Ma. Kristina Carabido.
