Rich Batangas : Bright Batangas, is this year’s theme for the 2018 Batangas Development Summit yesterday, January 27, 2018 at LIMA Park Hotel which aims to focus on the bright areas of Batangas in business, education and toursism. One of the highlights of the event is the awarding of the key to the Province of Batangas to outstading foreign nationals and selected Filipino Leaders with presence in the Province of Batangas. The Key to the Province of batangas is a symbol of goodwill and appreciation for their support to the growth and development of the province of Batangas. The awardees were selected from list of nominees presented by their partners such as Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Foundation, Inc. (SEIPI), Batangas Provincial Tourism Council, Batangas Provincial Investors Council, First Philippines Industrial Park (FPIP), Science Park of the Philippines, LIMA Technology Center (LTC), among others. Honorable Hermilando Mandanas awarded the Key to the Province of Batangas to select individuals in the fields of business and industry who have largelt helped generate jobs and promote the economy of the provicne.
