Batangas lomi is probably one of the reasons why people enjoy visiting our province. It’s not surprising since the best lomi can be found here in Batangas (anywhere else?).
Lomi is a popular comfort food of Batanguenos. When it’s raining, lomi could be your tummy’s best pal. If you’re hungry enough you think you could eat a cow, have a bowl of special lomi.
So you all know what lomi is about (our Batangas Lomi’s Secret Ingredient article became a hit), let’s talk about your favorite partner for our warm buddy lomi.

What completes a lomi dining experience?
1. Softdrinks. After an intense battle with the hot lomi inside your mouth, a refreshing soda is a good way to cool down your system.
2. Bread. Particularly buns, or monay. Filipinos are fond of eating lomi (or any noodle meal) with a piece of bread. Bread gives another texture in eating lomi para hindi ka maumay.
3. Chopped shallots (sibuyas tagalog) or fried garlic bits. There are lomi fans who want to have more flavors extended from their bowl of lomi. So aside from the usual toyomansi with chilli pepper, a small serving of shallots or garlic is often requested. Ngayon, halos lahat ng lomian may ready nang sibuyas o tinustang bawang in case may mag-request.
So these are three of the things which add goodness to your Batangas lomi experience. Have a complete lomi meal and enjoy this very comforting food!
Bon appetit!
