Do you still remember VST & Co. (where Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon were part of), Cinderella, Wadab, Labuyo, and Abracadabra? These bands contributed to the resounding success of the Philippine music industry in the 1970’s with respective hits such as “Awitin Mo, Isasayaw Ko”, “Swing It, Baby”, “Disco Fever”, “T.L. Ako Sa ‘Yo”, “Bato Sa Buhangin”, “Iniibig Kita”, and “Tuloy Pa Rin” to name a few.
The dawn of the early 70’s paved the way for these bands to flourish in the local music scene, giving birth to Manila Sound – the genre which characterizes the hits that made waves during that decade.

In celebration of their 15th anniversary, LIMA Park Hotel in cooperation with Rotary Club of Lipa present “Rock, Baby, Rock with the 70’s Superband”.
