BPCCI (Batangas Province Chamber of Commerce Inc.) will once again be holding a trade fair and exhibit at the Batangas City Capitol, come December 4-8. This event is part of the Batangas Province Foundation celebration, December 8, 2009.

All the 31 towns and the 3 cities of the province will again have their own Trade Booths and exhibits on the said event venue plus all other business in Batangas who wish to set up their own and showcase their products.

Right now, there are 30 businesses and local companies that confirmed its participation on the upcoming trade fair. This does not include those from the 34 booths from towns and cities in the province.

Aside from the exhibits, one of the highlights of the trade fair and exhibit will be a talk from a renowned motivational and inspirational Speaker Mr. Francis Kong, on December 10, 2009.

Meanwhile, BPCCI is a non-stock, non-profit and non-political membership organization which actively promotes and upholds the economic interests of businessmen and entrepreneurs in Batangas engaged in manufacturing, trade, commerce, industry, agriculture and services. Since 1978, by virtue of Letter of Instruction No. 780, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been recognized as the “sole official representative and voice of the entire private business community.” LOI 780 further states: “ in the pursuit of its lofty objective, PCCI deserves the encouragement, assistance and support of the Gov’t.” BPCCI is the local Chamber affiliated with PCCI.

    The Batangas Foundation Day and Trade Fair is a pet project of Governor Vilma Santos-Recto. It is on the whole managed and supervised by the Provincial Tourism Office headed by Mr. Pancho Lardizabal.
    BPCCI in partnership with the Provincial DTI manages the private sector component. The One-Town-One-Product (OTOP) is a national project of the Department of Trade and Industry
