It was because of the blessing of the new WOWBatangas Home and the birthday celebration of our team leader, JR, that we got introduced with a whole new party experience. Our event was made even more bustling because of Barik, The Mobile Bar! Have you heard of this?
We were just so fortunate that the owner, Dante Inciong, Jr., is a kababayan. The young entrepreneur also hails from Mataasnakahoy and is the man behind this exciting venture, a mobile bar where the life of the party can be ignited.
Let’s get to know more about Barik, The Mobile Bar in my Facebook conversation with Dante “Dan” Inciong, Jr.
Dyan: Kelan nagsimula ang Barik Batangas Mobile Bar?
Dan: Barik just started a month ago (June 2010).
Dyan: Kaninong idea ito? May partners ka ba sa biz na ‘to?
Dan: The name itself Barik came from the idea of my sister, I originally intended to use DEVOLUTION MOBILE BAR before, but then she said na mas patok sa mga BATANGUENO ang word na BARIK, since ang market naman ay mga Batangueno. 🙂
Dyan: Why a mobile bar?
Dan: Mobile bar or BEVERAGE CATERING, we call it mobile bar kasi gusto namin ma-share yung idea ng mobility ng bar, that we can bring the bar anywhere.
Dyan: Ang Barik ba ay parang branch lang nung Devolution or you’re also one of the owners noon?
Dan: Yes, it is a branch of DEVOLUTION. Yes, Devolution mobile bar MANILA was started by me, Mr. Gabriel Carlos and Ms. Maria Margarita Cruz. Both of them are my friends and we all came from the same school when we were still pursuing our college degree.
Dyan: Anong mga drinks ang sini-serve nyo?
Dan: We serve almost all drinks available sa market ng BAR. from non alcoholic drinks (MOCKtails) up to alcoholic drinks (COCKTAILS). We also have our own ORIGINAL CHILLED SHOOTER DRINKS, or “SHOTS” (drinks for just one gulp).
Dyan: What’s the common favorite among your drinks?
Dan: Well almost all our customers go crazy about our FLAMING BLOW JOB (BJ).. very exciting to drink.. For the ladies we advice not to do it flaming, we have a very specific way on how to drink this type of shooter. 😉
Dyan: What specific events ang na-cater nyo na?
Dan: Barik just started last month but we had our events catered at Shercon Resort – catering for Engr. Conrad Caraan’s Birthday Celebration. We also catered to WWZ Corp. meeting, DLI Farms Resort, and just last week we had our first ever debut event for Ms. Jamille Tibayan. Currently we are preparing for DRIVE 99.9’s anniversary party, you can hear our radio commercial on their station, so tune in!
Dyan: How well do people embrace your business idea?
Dan: Almost all comments are highly appreciated for they are very well satisfied with our idea of providing a “MOBILE BAR” experience for their event.
Dyan: If you would come up with a special drink na para sa mga Batanggenyo, anong mix nun?
Dan: We are proud to say that nothing beats LAMBANOG, so we came up with a wild cocktail drink called “LAMBANOG BOMB”. You just have to see it, drink it, be the verdict if it is “THE BOMB!”
It was a blast. Barik Batangas figuratively and literally injected cheers to the WOWBatangas event. Barik Batangas’ tagline goes — “DONT WORRY! JUST PARTY!”… and they mean it. 🙂
