Batangas Bloggers Grand EB at SM City Lipa

For the first time, Batangas bloggers gathered for a grand EB. Nothing really stopped this most anticipated eyeball even the seemingly storm signal number three cloudburst.

Thanks to SM City Lipa for making this event special for the growing population of bloggers in the province. This grand eyeball is part of the mall’s WiFi launching and blogging contest.

Jr Cantos and Marhgil Macuha, among the top bloggers of the province and the country as well, gave a short talk on ‘How to Start a Blog’ and ‘How to Earn from Blogs’ respectively. Part of the audience by the way are would be bloggers, students from different colleges and universities in Lipa.

Guitartutee artists, Penelope and Clara Reyes together with Thanks, the ultimate guitar tutor, rendered some great performances at the EB. Guitartutee, for the information of Batanguenos, is one of the fastest growing websites in the country in terms of traffic. It has been featured in INQ.net last year and is continually increasing its visitors with 14,000+ guitar enthusiasts and fans everyday from all over the world.

The eyeball concluded with the awarding of winners of SM City Lipa’s blogging contest with theme dubbed as “My SM Awesome Experience”. Celine Bernadette Francisco and Ryan Tanauan won the consolation prize while Shane Melu and Nica CAtbagan tied up for the grand prize. You may read their winning blogs here. There were also electronic raffles in which prizes like WOWBatangas T-shirts, SM gift packs and cell phone from Philcom were given away among EB registrants.

It was a great day indeed. I hope there will be more EBs to come.
