Synopsis :

The Nutcracker is a story of a marvelous magical gift, a gift of a dream!

The story begins with a wonderful party at the home of the Baron and Baroness Von Stahlbaum. The Von Stahlbaum children Fritz and Clara, are so excited because their cousin, the Grand Duchess, and many of their relatives and friends are arriving any minute. At the stroke of midnight, Herr Drosselmeyer presented Clara with his magical dream gift. The Nutcracker Prince tells the story of the battle with the mice and how Clara saved him from the hands of the Mouse King. The Sugar Plum Fairy and Herr Drosselmeyer realize Clara is getting tired and the Lord of the Sugar Plum Fairy fades away until next Christmas. Clara is left with the memory of the most beautiful Christmas gift and looks forward to her next trip to magical land of dreams.

Lipa Ballet School:

Lipa Ballet School was formed in January 2008 with a mission of bringing quality yet affordable ballet education to Lipa City. This noble task was made possible through the efforts of enthusiastic individuals each excelling in certain fields such as business, education, real estate, art, and motherhood. Since 2008, Lipa Ballet School, Inc. has been molding boys and girls, young and old, to become better, more passionate dancers. Aside from their regular classes held from June to March, every year the school conducts intensive summer workshops in April and May where students put in more hours of work to become stronger dancers. Lipa Ballet School, Inc. is the only dance school in the Southern Tagalog that produces full-length ballet production.

June 2, 2018, 6pm at the Canossa Academy Gym, Lipa City. Tickets are priced at Php 200.
