Located in Ayala Highway, the food avenue of Lipa City, Ka Jec’s Bangihan is a grill restaurant with a lot of parking space, cool ambiance, great hangout seats, and an awesome Filipino street food menu.
Their bestseller is the Isaw (or grilled Chicken Intestines). Instead of eating it in noisy, polluted and smelly streetside (with probably unhealthy sauces), you get to enjoy your isaw with your friends seated on picnic chairs and tables with proper edison-bulb lighting listening to a live acoustic band on some days.
Another can’t-miss on the menu is the turon, a flavorful blend of bananas, sesame seeds, butter, and sugar, that will make you forget you had just street food, and will probably make you order some more for take-out.
Ka Jec’s General Manager Ms. Eena Morada was very accommodating and served us the best food that most of their customers like.

The Coffee Sack Cafe is a newly-opened coffee shop that serves quality brewed coffee and cold drinks with delicious cupcakes, sandwiches and pasta. They are located in San Sebastian Village, Brgy 3, Tanauan City, Batangas, near the front gate of FAITH Colleges.
The Founders
Erick Rivera , MJ Sayaman and Sean “Cabs” Cabrera were classmates in CCA Katipunan way back 2014-2016 and are equally passionate about food and the restaurant business. After graduation, they went their separate ways putting up businesses as well as accepting jobs in the food industry.
Last year MJ saw an opportunity to put up his dream coffee shop when his parents offered him a commercial space in their Tanauan building. He partnered up with his classmates and got to work in conceptualizing the business, R&D, sourcing of suppliers, building the menu, and finally remodeling the coffee shop space itself. The founders are well-financed and are advised by family members who are entrepreneurs.
At such a young age, these guys are showing determination in learning and taking risks in the business industry. Their passion in cooking put them to where they are now and by putting their heart into it. Their team shows a great example of tight partnership thru friendship.
The Coffee Shop
Coffee Sack occupies the first floor of a prime commercial space about a 100 meter walk from FAITH, Daniel Mercado Hospital, and the old Tanauan City Hall.
The cafe-style place is spacious, and they have a couch that accommodates 10 people for barkada hang-outs. The cafe is also perfect for small business meet-ups because it has these nooks and corners that affords you some privacy.
The owners really want a rustic and homey vibe kind of coffee shop. They play classic songs, the materials used in their furnitures and the interior can be defined as homey vibe.
For bigger groups, they have a conference/ meeting room that can accommodate 20 people at an affordable rate of P1800 for four hours, with unlimited coffee!
Their menu includes:

Reviews:
“Excellent coffee + great food + cozy place + very accomodating staff. Definitely one of my go-to places! Cuban sandwich with coffee for the win!!” – Darlene Panghulan, one of the first customers
“I think the concept of the coffee shop shows the personality of the owners by the color and the type of materials used in the cafe which is very strong, the food and its prices are of quality type and very student budget meals. Lastly, the ambience is really homey and class.” – KP Santos, Publishing Editor, WOWBatangas Directory

How Inhinyero’s Resto Bar started
Engineer Earl Hosena, Inhinyero’s Restobar owner, first opted to establish a Japan-Bali-inspired apartment since the rural, relaxing vibes of the place demand imperturbable features and laid-back accommodations.
However, when the magnificence of Barangay Bungahan— replete with a scenic, towering, 360-degree view of Cuenca and neighboring towns—fully sank in with Engr. Earl, then realized that a casual coffee and dining hub is perfect for the lot.
The Restaurant, Coffee and Milktea Rooftop Bar
What sets Inhinyero’s Restobar from other restaurants in Cuenca is its menu. Its offerings may not be reminiscent of traditional Batangueno cuisine: its menu which includes Pan-Grilled Ribeye, Taiwanese Pork Chop, and Taco Pasta also serves as a great introduction to a luscious, foreign and affordable cuisine to some of the locals who otherwise would be denied a chance to enjoy great food in such a relaxed setting.
The place also serves a range of milk tea, coffee, and mild alcoholic beverages with a budget-friendly 60 pesos starting price. The main dishes’ fees range from 160 to 498 pesos.
